New everything at this location. New management, new menu and back to just great and amazing pizza like it was years ago but perhaps even better. I forget the owners name but a very pleasant guy to talk to and who wants to get to know the neighborhood and loves his food. I am defiantly going back now. View all feedback.
What Megan H doesn't like about Amato Pizza:
This place is not to be eaten at. The Pizza is so GREASYYY and undercooked. They obviously don't no how to cut lettuce cause the salad is huge like the pieces of lettuce in it, the cheese they put on the salad tasted like it's gone bad. Just the food is bland, greasy and very unsatisfying. It's the type of place you would go if you where in middle school for lunch on Fridays ,horrible. BE PREPARED TO BE DISAPPOINTED!... If I was you I would give it a chance! New owner is doing a great job. Expect to find good pizza and friendly environment.
This location doesn't use enough cheese on the individual slices. Toppings and sauce virtually tasteless. A decade ago Amato's had pretty okay slices, at least compared to the cardboard sold by Pizza Pizza what happened?
How can a pizzaria go about completely effing up a slice of plain cheese? just ask amato queen east! .... crust that is still doughy and overly salty, sauce that barely tastes like anything except canned paste, and barely any cheese to speak of. looks okay, but tastes unfathomable, no bueno.
Got food poisoning. Reported it to the Dine Safe, they sent an inspector and the establishment was in fact outside of sanitation regulations. Don't eat here!
