The restaurant offers a variety of small dishes priced at around £6-£8 each. My friend and I ordered six of them and found it to be just right. The dishes are diverse and it's enjoyable to try different options. I would recommend the Korean cauliflower and the pork ribs from the dishes we tried. In addition to the dinner menu, they also have a separate brunch menu. On our recent visit for brunch, I must admit that th... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Swing:
This was my 3rd visit to the Swing. I was shocked at how different this last experience was. Although the food was good the atmosphere was not. Firstly it was freezing cold meaning we ate in our coats which was not pleasant . We were offered blankets and told that the heating was not working properly. The food was good but bought out at random and 2 dishes never came. The whole vibe was awful the place looked filthy... View all feedback.
Beautiful small place with a beautiful selection of vegan and vegetarian oriented. updated from previous review to 2020-12-17
Another experience that disproves the many myths about plant-based food, such as, vegan food is boring , it’s full of cold leaves (salad) , vegans struggle to eat out or we have to go without dessert The staff were fab too! Oh I 'd definitely recommend the sharing menu.
The restaurant serves a lot of small side dishes each about £6-£8. My friend and I ordered six of these in total and found that to be the right amount. They're quite varied and it's fun trying out so many different options. I'd recommend the Korean cauliflower and the corn ribs of the dishes we tried. (The above is for the dinner menu. There is also a separate brunch menu. Updated post brunch: I have to confess, the staff were wondeful and understanding when I ordered my food and it didn't quite match my fussy tastes. I do compel thee to visit. Updated from previous review on 2021-10-28
I’m giving this five stars because they’re always friendly here and the food is delicious. Their brunch is really great I love their vegan version of a full English breakfast. Have been for dinner too and everything is very tasty, I just wish there were a few more protein based options apart from one tofu dish to go with all their delicious vegetables. But still, a really nice place and I’m happy it exists, especially in an area with not too many other options.
We tried the Railway Mi Tofu Burger and the Vegan Korean Burger. My friend liked the Vegan Korean Burger, but I found the avocado on sourdough bread to be disappointing as the bread was hard. However, we both enjoyed the latte. We were lucky to catch live music that day and really enjoyed it, although we're not sure if it's a regular thing. We had the brunch menu but are looking forward to trying the dinner menu next time.
