I am not sure what has happened, but this restaurant has changed and not for the better. I have visited a couple of times recently and the quality is terrible. The staff did not offer me salt and vinegar, the fish batter was not good, and the curry sauce was too thin and spilled out onto the paper. That's absolutely great. simple clean, fast friendly staff/service and almost the best chips I've ever had.
I come from coventry for her truthahn bars. best fish and chip shop in the midlands.
Since being taken over by new proprietors we were recommended to try it and were pleasantly surprised by how good the food and service was. We have been back several times now and the quality is always very good. Highly recommended
