If you enjoy tasty food, Orto is the place. My friend introduce me to this place. For lunch, we had the tasty trio (cup of carrot soup, greens and ½ sandwich) and smoke salmon and chive omelet with salad and Bad dog bread. Everything was fresh, flavourful and tasty including the homemade bread. We splurged and shared the tiramisu for dessert. Just right not too sweet. They have breads and soups along with appetizers, pasta, omelets for lunch. They even offered a 3 course lunch special. Service was prompt and friendly. Nice ambiance. Parking can be a challenge but it’s worth it. Definitely a hidden gem in North Vancouver. They’re near where Indigo books was. Can’t wait to dine at their outdoor patio when the weather warms up. Note they are closed Sunday to Tuesday. They accept lunch and dinner reservations.

Lunch with SO we both love this place. Been here for dinner a number of times and it has never disappointed. Delicious food. For lunch my pasta was amazing. Will definitely come again. Very happy we have this little gem on the North Shore.

I went here for lunch with my mom yesterday, and the food was SO delicious. I had the frittata with mushrooms, potatoes and bacon, and a side of bread with caramelized onion butter. Incredibly delicious. My mom had the mussels also delicious. Beautiful presentation. We sat out in their gardens, surrounded by gorgeous plants and vegetables it felt like we were in a different country. Highly recommend.
