Morning Star Bubble Tea

The food is simply fantastic.Their fried chicken rice plate is just suberb. Finishing that off with their bubble is so satisfying.Highly recommended.

I noticed this bubble tea shop when I was in the area and stopped by to buy a lychee with coconut jelly bubble tea. It was reasonably priced at $5.50. Drink tasted as expected and reminded me of the classic bubble tea options when I was in college. The place is not super fancy and their menu offerings is average at best.

I recently decided to try out a new bubble tea shop in my city, and I was not disappointed. The teas at Morning Star Bubble Tea are mostly boba-based, which are tapioca pearls that have been soaked in black tea and come in different flavors. There is also a menu with non-tea options that range from fruit juice to smoothies. My drink of choice was the Vietnamese iced coffee with sweetened condensed milk.

I was in this area for a meeting, and needed lunch somewhere close. I didn't realize that this little place was tucked into the middle of no where! I'm glad I went in, the food is amazing!! I believe it's Taiwanese style food, and this is their Pork Stew on rice. It was so yummy and even lasted the drive home. (They're currently take out only for Covid reasons) My husband took a bite and now he's asking me to take him there lol For drinks; I bought the milk tea and lemon black tea. Very simple, but tasty! Would def recommend if you're in the North Van area and looking for some yummy Asian food!

Oh wow! The food is absolutely delicious! It's take-out only, so my husband and I enjoyed our meal in the car as part of our date night. The food was fantastic, and the portion sizes were generous. I ordered the chicken on rice, which was incredibly juicy. And I can't forget to mention their pickled vegetables – they were amazing!
