The seafood dishes were wonderful. We were in Vancouver for the first time and our hotel was in walking distance so we decided to give it a try. My husband had the lobster mac and cheese, which he loved. I had the linguine carbonara with the largest tastiest prawns, seasoned and cooked just right. The service was just okay, but the food made up for it and I would eat there again. View all feedback.
What Maryam Cronin doesn't like about Fishworks Restaurant:
Sadly, what should have been a great dining experience with friends, was blemished by very poor performance in the kitchen. Overall I’d rate the food as 4 out of 5, but the service only 2 of 5. Simple dishes of pasta, steamed clams, and baked...fish shouldn’t take 1.5 hours to cook and serve. Total time from start to finish, without dessert was 2.5 hours. There were more than enough employees up front so that staffin... View all feedback.
We sat at the bar and had a fabulous night. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly, Sergio had excellent drink pairing suggestions and the food was delicious. The pride in both food preparation and service was demonstrated by all staff we interacted with. I highly recommend Fishworks!

Cute place to eat. Glad we went. I had the paella which I felt had too much clam flavor in it. The other dishes looked awesome. Apps were very good.
On July 22, 2017 we had a wonderful dining experience at the Fishworks restaurant. We were a party of four and after a little mixup with our seating we were treated to a fabulous meal. Our server Sergio tended to our every need and gave us excellent meal choices. My daughter has celiac disease and at times when we dine out it can be quite challenging. This definitely wasn't the case here she had the Halibut special and a delicious chocolate mousse. We also had the Crab cakes, Scallop special, Caesar salad and to die for Creme brûlée.A truly delectable meal and now one of our favourite restaurants in North Vancouver.
My husband and I recently had dinner at Fishworks. It was our second visit as we had dinner there once before, a few years ago.On both occasions, the food was very good and beautifully presented; the service was professional; and the ambiance was enjoyable. On our latest visit, I had the halibut special. The halibut was a nice size and perfectly cooked, and came with a potato cake, pancetta, and green beans. It was lovely to look at, and even nicer to eat. My husband and I also appreciated the complimentary bread. We will definitely return to this restaurant in the future.
