Food is always excellent, lovely atmosphere, lively and cozy. Servers are professionals!

There's nothing lacking in this place. Here's why I gave it only 2 stars. The food, service and environment is average...like any decent neighbourhood pub. The only thing that is off is the pricing. This is not a high end Gastro Pub and it shouldn't price its menu items as such. Why would I pay $18 for a burger and fries when I can go literally 2 blocks down the road at another neighbourhood pub and get the same meal, similar environment and service for only $14? I wasn't dissatisfied after our lunch but I did feel slightly ripped off. Basically, you're not getting what you're paying for. The price point has to match the establishment.....if it did...the review would be much different. Unfortunately will not be returning.

The food is good, the service is usually great but DAMN this chain needs to change their 'required playlist '. It 's over the top horrible, enough to chase a normal person out for sure.

Browns Socialhouse Upper Lonsdale offers a lively dining experience with a diverse menu that appeals to various tastes. We began our meal with the Crispy Cauliflower, which was served hot alongside an excellent dill ranch dressing. However, we found the portion size a bit small and wished for just a little more. For our main courses, we tried the Potato Crusted Cod Bowl and the #28 Dragon Bowl. Both dishes were freshly prepared and enjoyable, with flavors that complemented each other without being overwhelming. The service was a standout aspect of our visit; our server, Riley, was bubbly and enthusiastic, enhancing our overall experience. The atmosphere was energetic but leaned towards the loud side, which may not suit everyone’s preferences. Parking was easy, with plenty of street spots available. Overall, I would rate Browns Socialhouse Upper Lonsdale a solid 4 out of 5 for its food and service, although there is some room for improvement regarding noise levels and portion sizes.

The food here is outstanding! Given the price, the quality is excellent, and the staff allowed us to chat for four hours without pressuring us to order alcohol. Thank you, we really appreciate it!
