Lovely atmosphere, great food. Hard working staff that always go above and beyond for all their customers. Couldn't recommend this place more!!

We booked a table for 6 for dinner and upon arriving were seated next to a couple with their dogs??? I am completely fine with dogs beings allowed but to be sat next to them while eating? Should this really be allowed??? Drinks were ok. Their was a live singer on this night, although he was good I couldn't have a conversation as you couldn't hear anything over the music. This aside we still ordered our food and I very much wish we had not. The burger that was ordered was like rubber with cheese embedded and the bun extremely dry. The fish was undercooked, so much so ot was uneatable. My friend ordered the steak with peppercorn sauce. The sauce was not given and when asked was assured it would be brought over. After waiting we had to ask again after seeing the staff standing around talking to each other. We immediately decided we would not be returning again. None of the food was eatable and the overall atmosphere was not great.
The restaurant has seen significant improvements since the arrival of the new manager.
This is the best bar in Wallsend by far. The staff are excellent, especially Abbey who is charming. The food is decent and the drinks are great. Up the Boro!
