Mario's Cucina - NORTH TURRAMURRA

This place used to be my favourite. Used to order pizza all the time and always go into eat but has significantly gone down hill from about 2 years ago. Given it 4 more tries but always disappointed. Rude staff and bad service.

Our table gave mixed reviews but overall no one was unhappy.Ambience: suburban pizzeria meets 1990s restaurantMenu: standard fare, nothing newService: manipulative at worst, average at bestFood prep: no complaints except for the mussels, lost count at 15 empty shellsWine: no BYO, so take water if you want a cheap nightCost: over $100 per head: 8 people, 2 courses per head and a couple of desserts, plus 2 bottles of wine.Bottom line, I don't find the cost, but I expect more than average and the service needs a lot of work.

Mario's is a good place for the family(s) to come together and have a simple but tasty meal.They are cool with larger groups, and have a small bar area out the front. Kids are welcome.Have a garlic pizza on arrival and a glass of redI'll be back.

We went on a Saturday night I checked it on the website byo as it as in the past upon our arrival we were advised no byo now on Saturday so we did order a bottle of wine ...during the course of our dinner 3 separate tables had bought their own wine and the waitress took it away and came back to the tables with their own wine, we were really angry about this as we could not use ours. When it was time to pay we called for the manager and advised him of what was happening attitude was pretty poor then another person who had some role shouted out that the wines used were gifts really 3 separate tables. Yes they may be very busy but I certainly will not visit again attitude appalling.

4 of us went for dinner here and found the food and service to be quite good Pizza was really good as was the scallops and beef cappaccio ,liked the zucchini flowers but a little bland and a bit to oily for my taste but overall a very good meal Service was excellent and staff friendly also a good wine list We will return as we all had a good dining experience
