Tried the chicken and lamb gyros at a work function and I knew I had to go back. br/ br/ Tried the chicken gyros again and it didn't disappoint! The chicken was well cooked, the bread was warm and just right. The condiments on the gyros complemented the flours of the hockey and sauce kept all the flavours together. br/ br/ A must try in North Sydney!! View all feedback.
What Curt Yundt doesn't like about Mazza:
I really wanted this place to be good.
It looks top notch and the staff are welcoming.
Ordered a take away halloumi gyros as a taster.
Was most disappointed that it came without the kalamata olives as advertised, but I didn't realise this until I was back at the office.
For me, the olives were pretty key to my order and often it is the little things that count.

Effectively 2 things on the food menu, gyros or salad. Great value on the gyros for around $10, I got the pork belly, very generous with the amount of meat you get. A little disappointing that the food overall was cold, would taste a whole lot better if they were warm & just cooked. The pork belly was a bit dried too. Overall still good value & worthy for a return visit.
I work in North Sydney and for more than a year went to Bunker across the road for brekky/lunch/coffee, only discovered Mazza recently - both food and coffee are way nicer and at a better price point! Beautiful Greek food, fresh and full of flavour, good portion sizes. Great menu with lots of vegetarian and meat options, as well as gluten free salads. The bruschetta brekky options are all delicious. Good spot to go with people whether it's a small group or big, and they take reservations which is handy.

Doesn't it feel great to have found a cafe that is consistently reliable either for a quick takeaway coffee or sit down lunch. The best part is price is so reasonable. $3 a cup of coffee is definitively a rare treat by either CBD or North Sydney standard, did I mention it tasted very good too! Now I have tried coffee from Mazza, I won't be paying $3.5-$3.8 for a lousy cuppa. The only lunch I tried was grilled halloumi wrap served with chips. It was delicious, chips were perfectly golden brown, crunchy thin cut; halloumi was salty and chewy as how they should be. It was a triumph! Can't wait to come back and try more. thernbdiary.com

It still tasted delicious but the portion size was abysmal for the price point and especially when compared to what I saw being turned out for the meat gyros for the same price. Vegetarians lose out. Again.
