Met my wife for lunch at North Sydney and went to her favourite café. Heard about this great café which has nice food and is a great place for a chat at lunchtime. My wife ordered warm Quinoa Salad and I ordered today's special, a Teriyaki Burger and chips. Both meals were lunch size and delicious. My wife had a cold mineral water and I had a large Soy Latte. The coffee was delicious and creamy and was very well made... View all feedback.
What Bria Price doesn't like about KU Tamper Cafe:
Very pleasant experience for breakfast. Venue is clean...staff friendly..service is good...the cuisine was good breakfast grub...lunch is also served here...mostly frequented by near by office workers... View all feedback.
This is the cafe under the Cisco building. It was run pretty well by the last two owners, good coffee, good food, friendly greeting (customer service = important) and online ordering (yes the internet exists). Since it has become KuTamper the service standards have dropped and the prices have gone up. Noting personal, but disappointing as it is across the road from my office and I used to buy brekky there 3 times a week. 70 cents extra for turkish bread on a B+E roll, thats just greedy? The staff certainly don't seem very jovial to be there, and combined with the prices and service it's going to be hard to come back. The old cafe owners also had the online ordering, I could order form the train and it is ready when I arrived (yqme), that has also been turned off and when I asked the staff just shrugged. Anyway, there a lots of cafe's on North Sydney, need to walk a bit further in the mornings that's all.

Enjoyed the meals and atmosphere of the restaurant. Great coffees and meal options. Love that it was opposite our hotel . The staff are friendly and efficient.
This is currently our go-to-meet coffee shop for team catch-ups. Coffee is great, all the food off the menu is great and the staff friendly. Breakfast wraps are awesome! A gem outside the normally busy North Sydney shopping precinct.
Ku Tamper is the coffee shop on the ground floor of the Cisco building in North Shore. It is situated just beside the Greenwood Plaza mall, right on the busy intersection of Pacific Highway and Walker Street.Staff are friendly and coffee is consistently good. There is loyalty programme which also offers ordering in advance, particularly good for people popping out for a coffee to take back to the office. There is generous seating areas and a range of food options available, from snack sandwiches and cooked meals also. There is usually a daily lunch offer for around $10, very reasonable for the area as well as being filling and tasty. It is very much an Aussie cafe feel, despite the name sounding exotic! It's fine for a business meeting or catch up, or just as a place to get lunch solo or as a group. Outdoor seating is also available.
