Description

Nestled in front of the Stanton Library is a charming little cafe with outdoor seating perfect for enjoying a park-like setting. While the food and coffee may not be the absolute best, they certainly don't disappoint either. The friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere make it a great spot for grabbing morning coffee or enjoying a leisurely breakfast. Customers rave about the Eggs Benedict and the Moroccan lamb salad, and even recommend sharing the delicious fruit toast with ricotta and honey. Despite some mixed reviews, this cozy cafe seems to be a hidden gem worth checking out for a tasty meal in a warm and inviting environment.

Horrible service and was made to feel terrible for even attempting to sit down with my young daughter (who was not making a single sound)! Rude owner who showed delight in having succeeded to get us to leave without placing an order. Clear and biased behaviour. Will never eat here again (and I had previously).

Nothing special but an easy go to if you're in the area. Particularly as this end of Miller Street is pretty quiet on the food front. Staff were nice enough albeit involved in conversation/laughing when I approached the counter which made me feel as if I was interrupting something. I enjoyed the bruschetta although tomato needed to be diced into smaller pieces. The larger pieces to me looked like Chef couldn't be bothered. A very simple dish although very tasty. Would I return? Not necessarily but if I was in the area I might grab something on the run.

Been here many many times over past five years. Great cute cakes and the most decadent brownies which are not only large but rich and have plentiful amounts of chocolate embedded in it. Delicious hot chocolate, and great coffee as well. Strawberry and caramel milkshakes here are delicious and the vanilla is yummy too. My favourite is the banana bread which is great value for money and the eggs benedict is very good, the hollandaise delivered a nice tang with the perfectly poached eggs. Fast service, ordered a coffee and hot chocolate and arrived within two minutes and everything else always comes relatively instantaneously as well. Love this place!

I recommend trying the fruit toast with ricotta and honey, but be warned it's quite filling for one person. The lunch options are always delicious, especially the Moroccan lamb salad. The soup is a hit, and we always enjoy sharing a bowl of fries. They also offer a selection of alcoholic beverages. The coffee isn't the best, but it's decent. The courtyard seating is lovely, and the interior of the restaurant is warm and cozy on a chilly winter day. Prices are reasonable, with breakfast around $10-15 per person (if you get toast and coffee) and lunch around $30 per person.
