The service is always pretty good, very attentive and always refilling water which is awesome. The food is great, the pancakes can be heavy though so I like to opt for the crepes which you exchange instead of pancakes in all of the sweet dishes. The savoury food is good too, but if you're good you can't go past the sweet stuff. Definitely recommend for a chill night with friends or family. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pancakes on the Rocks:
We've dined here previously but we're quite disappointed this time.We had the pork ribs ($35.95) and the Chicken & Mushroom crepes ($15.95). Both were just ok. Nothing spectacular and not even good. There is so much potential here for a great restaurant but they are just trading on their name now, which is not enough to survive. Service was friendly and prompt, but the food and menu needs a refresh. View all feedback.
We went there for dinner. We had order several courses and were pretty full when it was time for dessert. We ordered the pancake anyway and just did not want to leave without eating the signature dish. We might not have the appetite at that moment. Thus, we did not find it extraordinary. Perhaps we may go again next time but order for pancake solely so that we are able to taste it comprehensively.
Had the chocolate pancakes Wass the best huge portion had ice cream was only me there but and big table. Comfy booth seat no waiting heaps of parking good coffee friendly staff 10:10
Loved the pancakes. Took the kids here. Loved that fact they were fluffy and milky. Kids loved. Highly recommend this place.
My family and I decided to dine at this restaurant in search of a budget-friendly meal featuring their famous ribs. When the ribs finally arrived, they appeared to be well-presented but were disappointingly lukewarm and seemed to have been pre-cooked and reheated in a microwave. Throughout our meal, we received orders intended for other customers, indicating a lack of organization among the staff. Despite their politeness, they were inefficient and struggled to keep up even though the restaurant was not busy. Unfortunately, this experience was our first and last visit to this establishment.
This is a great place for a relaxed casual family night out. Started with plates of different entrees that we all shared and then onto the decadence. Various styles of pancakes, all bad for the waistline but very enjoyable. Good service even when rushed with a full house on Mother's Day, the staff were very professional and did a great job.
