Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant in question has received mixed reviews from its patrons. While some have praised the delicious food, particularly the steaks that were described as excellent and worth the price, others have criticized the overall dining experience. Complaints range from slow service and lack of attentiveness from the waitstaff to overpriced and low-quality meals. Inconsistent service levels seemed to be a recurring theme, with reports of long wait times for drinks and dishes, as well as unclean glasses and missing orders. Despite the pleasant ambiance and trendy atmosphere, the lack of attention to detail and subpar service left many diners feeling disappointed and unlikely to return.
My oh my what a taste of home... I use Togo here all the time back in Toronto before they closed them down.. There was no way I was going to cone here and not order the blooming onion!! Its a must for anyone who comes here.. As always its a big ball of yummy goodness.. I was a bit disappointed it seemed to be a bit over cooked but the flavours were still the same..Next I decided on the Alice Spring chicken which is something I do not remember being an option back home.. It was grilled chicken breast topped with honey mustard, sauteed mushrooms, crispy strips of bacon and melted cheese... Do I need to say more?? It was like heaven in my mouth.. So good.. And it was served with chips.. Always a good side dish.. They also brought the hot roll and butter.. Such a lovely added treat.. This place was packed (being a Friday night) and I wasn't surprised.. The atmosphere was modern, upbeat and with great music.. The service was great.. And on the ball.. All in all great experience
My favorite steak house, especially for the pork ribs and sirloin steak. Never going wrong and highly recommend it to you for a good time or weekend
The food and interior ambiance are decent. However the service could seriously be improved. We were a group of 20 people and as it seems to be the case in most restaurants in Sydney, they did not want to divide the bill. You can easily imagine that it was pretty hefty for my friend who decided to pay. They don't keep track of who ordered what, so obviously we kept being interrupted every time a new dish would come. Not to mention those who forgot the name of what they order or who thought they ordered something different. The waiters are not properly trained to serve wine. Note to North American clients: there is no tipping policy in Australia.
We have a large group of 17 here tonight our waitress was very patient and helpful tonight. She did an amazing group catering to 17 people. Our food came out very quickly and the food was cooked perfectly. I always have my steaks blue.. YES BLUE.. and it was cook perfectly! It was also very busy here tonight and they manage to still keep up the good service. A big thank you to our waitress Zee, you are amazing!!!
My friends and I were coming back from the Blue Mountains and we decided to stop by Outback Steakhouse because why the hell not? What's more ironic than a group of Americans going to an American restaurant posing as an Australian restaurant, except that it's IN Australia??? We rocked up on a Saturday night around 7pm and we were surprised to find a huge queue waiting. We were told it would be a 40 minute wait and we didn't care one bit because lo and behold, they were showing ESPN and MLB at the bar. It felt like America. We ordered beers and some diet cokes (haha) and we were pleasantly surprised to find out that soft drinks had free refills. FREE REFILLS?!?! IN AUSTRALIA?!?!? It felt like America. After a short wait we were promptly seated and since we came all the way to Outback Steakhouse we HAD to order the Bloomin' Onion as well as steaks and ribs. Service was great by the way, super friendly. The Bloomin' Onion was a bit smaller than what we're accustomed to, but it was still good. The onion was a little different too but it was good. For those who are expecting the same as back in America, it's not. I ordered baby back ribs and my friends ordered all types of steaks. I didn't get to try all the steaks but the prime rib was tender and fatty enough, as was the rib eye, can't go wrong with both. The baby back ribs were decent, not bad but not amazing. Hurricane's ribs are better, but you get better bang for your buck here. I would eat here again if I was in the area.
