Peppercorn Kitchen - North Ryde
Peppercorn Kitchen
Description
Nestled in the heart of a bustling shopping center, this malatang restaurant has garnered mixed reviews. Diners appreciate the diverse selection of seafood, meats, and flavorful broth options, particularly the signature spicy beef bone soup, which many describe as umami-rich and delicious. However, concerns about inconsistent service, long wait times, and high prices have also surfaced. Some customers reported health-related issues and questioned hygiene practices, while others praised the restaurant's value for takeout, often yielding leftovers for another meal. Despite its flaws, many agree that the enticing flavors make it worth a visit for malatang lovers.

This place is definitely better than the other Malatang restaurant in the shopping center, making it my favorite spot. However, I should mention that the wait times can sometimes exceed 30 minutes when they’re busy, which can be disappointing. There have also been occasions when I didn’t get enough soup. Despite these issues, I will definitely return. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
