Central American cuisine at its finest! This place serves the most delicious pupusas in Jersey—no doubt about it! They offer a wide variety of dishes, and you absolutely must try the Salvadoran sweet bread, especially the semitas. As for parking, there's a convenient lot right behind the restaurant. Enjoy! What Jasmin Robillard doesn't like about La Fonda De Tia Rosa:
I was initially going to give this place 5 stars because their pupusas are delicious, but they forgot to include the cabbage, so I reduced it to 4 stars. Then I noticed they also didn’t provide napkins, which dropped it to 3 stars. I'm not even factoring in the lack of utensils. View all feedback.
I was going to give a 5 stars because those Pupusas are delicious but they didn’t put the repollo which leads to 4 stars, then I realized they didn’t put napkins neither so 3 stars. And I am not counting the fact that they didn’t put utensils.
Wouldn't recommend they are quite ignorant I tried to place a a order for delivery Tuesday September 13th at 3:23pm. The first time I called I asked them do they deliver in my area which is down the road instead of answering the question because she didn't understand me and I understand she didn't because she greeted me in Spanish when she answered she hung up on me then I proceeded to call back I asked the same question again she passed the phone to someone who did speak English he was polite he said yes then asked me what I wanted I answered I just wanted a beef soup, Chicken soup, tiramisu and flan he said give him a minute I said no problem then him and another individual started going back and forth in Spanish until they hung up on me with no confirmation I call back again to see what happened they picked up just to hang up on me then ignored the last time I called completely.I didn't enjoy this experience I wasn't rude I didn't get nasty when I called back I just wanted food but if the cashier and or owners are reading this this behavior is understandable.

I visited Tia Rosa's restaurant to order some quesadillas. I arrived right at 10 PM and asked the girl at the counter for some quesadillas. She told me they were closed, and when I mentioned it was for takeout, she still said they were closed. There were customers still eating inside, and I thanked her before leaving. If the owners had been there, I’m sure they would have sold me the quesadillas; it’s unfortunate that they lost a customer. Nowadays, it seems many employees do not take their jobs seriously. I have been going there for years for my quesadillas, but after that experience, I went to the next store and bought my quesadillas there instead. I will continue to return there because the customer service was much better. I’m sorry to say this, but it’s the truth—owners need to pay attention to their business and not leave it in the hands of those who don’t care.
We ordered the Al pastor tacos and chicken tacos, both of which were incredibly flavorful and delicious! The tiramisu was also outstanding! The service was great, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. We will definitely be coming back!
