Contribute FeedbackGuidi's restaurant in Airdrie/Coatbridge offers a laid-back, relaxed ambiance with friendly and professional service. The rustic Italian cuisine, including delicious pasta dishes and comfort food with a touch of fine dining, is a highlight. The restaurant has adjusted well to Covid restrictions, providing a sense of normalcy and safety while offering excellent value for the price. The chateaubriand and homemade pizzas are particularly notable, and the staff are attentive and welcoming. Overall, Guidi's is a highly recommended spot for a delightful Italian dining experience.
Booked table for my son and myself. Walked in with my face mask partially on as I was rushing in, only to be confronted by a staff member called Darren who quite abruptly said I need to have my face mask when entering the restaurant. Fair point and had no issues with that. His tone was was very aggressive and intimidating. Also told me that mask needs to be on during anytime I am going to the toilet etc. I told him that I don't use public toilets so I won't be getting up unless I am leaving. The stare I got from him made me feel uneasy. I decided to make a quick exit, and didn't bother ordering any food.
Guidi's has successfully adjusted to Covid restrictions, providing a sense of normalcy and safety for diners. My weekend lunch at this wonderful trattoria was a delight. My group opted for the meal deal menu, which included some additional items, and we were pleased with the excellent value. The food was delicious, capturing the essence of Italy in every bite. The service was top-notch, without being intrusive. Overall, the value for the price was exceptional.
I absolutely loved this restaurant! The chateaubriand was amazing and the homemade pizzas were fantastic. The staff were excellent and I couldn't find any faults with this place. They even have WiFi for the kids and comfortable seating. I was very impressed overall.
I was in today for lunch with my boyfriend. The waiter that seated us was friendly (Graham). The second waiter (ceiran, my spelling may not be accurate) was less helpful as my boyfriend told him, I am allergic to eggs and asked for a menu or allergin folder to check what I could have. He told us that you do not offer this on a menu or have anything like an allergen folder and then just walked away. I am sure that it is a legal requirement for you to have one and if not, he could have had a better attitude towards the situation as this is regarding not sending someone to hospital. All in all I really like this place as the food is excellent however on this occasion I was extremely disappointed with the service.
If you’re looking for an Italian in Airdrie/Coatbridge then procrastinate no more, there’s only one choice that’s Guidis. Restaurant decor overall ambiance vibe is very laid back relaxed...open plan kitchen dining room with high vaulted ceilings a beautiful conservatory...as mentioned it’s all very chilled out. Owner staff offer a polite, professional polished service...extremely friendly also...but the main act at Guidis, the star of the show has to be the cuisine...I would describe it as rustic Italian offerings...kind of comfort food with a slight touch of fine dining on particular dishes...like the garlic prawns. The pasta is definitely delectable...I adore the salsa Del a casa, spaghetti pasta with garlic,onions,bacon,chilli...all mingles together resulting in a tasty plate of food...Another favourite of mines is the chicken guojons. Also the place is immaculately spotless clean...Been a patron of Guidis for many years never had a bad meal yet...Another bonus is it’s also extremely good value for money...be it the main menu or the meal deal menu...the puddings, cheesecakes etc are epic too...Oh the coffee, the cappuccinos are excellent, proper Italian coffee, that strong you get a little pick me up from it. 10/10
