While service can be slow and forgetful, the friendly staff and relaxed mood add to the experience. The small menu changes daily, offering nicely prepared food and homemade cakes. The sunny terrace, environmentally positive concept, and eco-friendly products make it a unique spot. With a variety of vegetarian options, exceptional salads, and a perfect atmosphere for working or meeting, The Project Cafe is a great choice for delicious food and a lovely experience.
Fabulously tasty, seasonal, locally resourced food. Vegan and gluten-free options. Yummy cakes. More than a great cafe, the owners’ environmentally positive concept also applies to their sale of eco-friendly products and eco-refill service for household items, all reasonably priced.
This lovely airy cafe spanning inside and out offers an excellent selection of homemade food that 's becoming more and more popular as we start to eat healthier. I have recently become a fan of superfoods and all things chickpea which is great but it does mean 'treating ' myself when I go out. This is the lovely thing about The Project Cafe, the food is mostly salads and snacks and a good selection of desserts and cakes. I had the bulgar wheat salad with caramelized onions, a latte, a glass of mineral water and a piece of lemon drizzle cake. I had had a late appointment so decided that this would be the main meal of the day and I wasn 't disappointed! The portions were excellent and very flavoursome. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and had no problem offering to take my food to my table for me as my mobility is challenged and I use a walking aid. The café is situated up a slope which has a considerable incline but if you take it slowly it 's not so bad. I will definitely be tackling the slope to return here. I 'm so glad to have found it!!
I had tea here as my husband was in the shop next door, so I was waiting for him. What a lovely relaxed place to chill. I wished so much that I could’ve eaten here but we had a meal planned later. The tea was lovely and just as nice as home made. When my husband returned I was a bit peckish so I ordered a homemade herby cheese scone for us to share, which was the nicest scone I have eaten. Next time we go back, I will definitely be having some proper food and not just a snack. If I lived in Glasgow, I would be here way more often.
Loved this place, just happened to be walking by and looked up to see folks sat out on the terrace. Lovely fresh veg, not loads of options but a few really good choices. I had spinach and parsley pancakes with sides- yum! Also a good coffee, didn’t have a cake but they looked great. Will be back!
Small menu , changes every day . Nicely prepared food , homemade cakes , friendly staff. Sunny terrace +1 above street level. A bit wobbly chairs table have there charme.
