My partner and I recently enjoyed a delicious steak menu at this restaurant. We also indulged in a tasty dessert. I have always been a advocate of Owens , Iv enjoyed many a nice meal in it, However I’m not sure if the Chef Owners have changed in last months as the food was sooooo disappointing not nice at all! Such a gem of a pub. Food is always delicious, there's always a good selection of beers on tap and the staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable.
Today with my other half. we both had the 2 course lunch menu it was brunette! great eating, great choices very good price menu. one of the best steak pies I had. 3 hours later filled

Organised my fiancé’s surprise 30th here. What a fabulous night! Function suite just the right size staff were fab! Buffet and DJ were taken care of making it a hassle free night. Thanks to the whole team for a great night!
