Lakeside Cafe - NORTH LAKES
Lakeside Cafe
Description
Despite its potential due to a great location, this cafe falls short in delivering a satisfying experience according to multiple reviewers. Complaints range from terrible coffee and rock hard scones to burnt and bitter drinks. One customer was disappointed to find margarine instead of butter on toast, with food and drinks taking a long time to be served. Poor service, bad coffee, and lackluster food quality make it clear that improvements are needed for this cafe to meet expectations.

The coffee took a LONG time to be made no less on a weekday afternoon with only one handful of other customers, and was accompanied by a single, sad, finger-printed malteaser sitting on the spoon. dirty tables. pie served on the serviette?! the best part was the hope.
Scaling hot, burned, bitter coffee. they said their spread was butter. when I saw them spread margarine on the toast and asked to revive the toast without margarine, it seemed so inconvenient for them. (so they do not call margarine 'butter ', they are not the same). Drink and breakfast was finished before the other 2 people on our table even got each of their articles. my mushrooms were all at the table trying to find out what was wrong with them when they were terrible. cook friend with us eating, advised, they were old shares, shoved and extremely bitter. I will point out that his mushrooms, when his meal finally arrived, were new shares....read more
A caffe in this situation has so much potential to do well. but unfortunately this caffe is disappointing. I've been twice, the first time I suggested it to a friend because of the view, but was very impressing with my terrible coffee and rock hard scoone. I thought I would give him another chance, I should have been there on a bad day, but unfortunately my coffee was even worse. I wouldn't go back if the caffe had new owners.
