A couple of friends recommended this fine establishment, its a good half an hour away but definitely worth the journey. We went for afternoon tea not realising that it should have been pre booked ! It was not that busy and the very helpful lady... View all feedback.

My husband and I ordered two lattes and two celery soups, the lattes arrived Luke warm, then the soup came out,no steam came from it,i tasted it,it was cold,i walked up to the counter and told the waitress she replied I don't know why because it is probed, she took it back to the kitchen it was warmed up,it came out steaming, the hotter it was the thinner it was,i can honestly say it was like hot water with bits of celer... Absolute must, wonderful to eat cakes to die for, very clean staff friendly, would not say wheelchair accessable, this is a lovely tearoom to visit
Sadly a bit disappointed. Dogs in the cafe. Food OK, but pricey for what it was. Small number of seats. Staff as always pleasant.
My friend I had afternoon tea, it was lovely, sandwiches and cakes were so freshly made. Well worth a visit. Would differently go back.
As the title states I haven’t been here before! Usually we go to the barge and bottle for lunch but we decided to go somewhere different! Just fancied a toasted teacake so that’s what I went for with a gingerbread latte! Both were delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere clean and inviting. The items dotted around for sale were good quality and very fairly priced. We also took away some of the vanilla fudge which was also delicious! We will definitely be returning.
Popped into this corner café off the cuff when passing on foot. Lovely clean interior, I sat at a table next to the window.I ordered the full English with a cup of tea. There was toast included, so I asked if I could have a fried slice of bread instead of the toast, (who doesn't like fried bread with full English? .Anyway, the breakfast duly arrived as requested, but also with a round of toast by mistake. There was no additional charge for the round of toast, even though I had my fried bread as requested; so thank you! The food was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.I would recommend Blanchards for breakfast, and will visit again.
