While the website promises music on Thursdays and a pub quiz on Wednesdays, these events have been discontinued. Recent refurbishments are positive, but there is still room for improvement. The staff is friendly, but cleanliness issues such as lack of toilet paper and unclean toilets have been reported. Despite this, the pub atmosphere is generally vibrant, with tasty food and a wide beer selection. Customers appreciate the warm welcome and value for the money, making it a charming spot to visit.
Fantastic food and ale selection. A beautiful charming pub that does not try to be something it is not, the food is fantastic and at a good price, with various offers throughout the week. Branded a sport bar it ensures all while clean and welcoming.
Despite sticky tables and a little cold what came out of the kitchen came spectacular miles above the postie was the food was delicious the chicken wing amazing what a cook can sometimes see fooling, but what came out of the kitchen was totally surprising to eat a great place
I came for the NFL tonight, always a pain for scheduling in pubs. The bartender was knowledgeable, friendly and made me welcome. Service was a 10, atmosphere was a 10 (for a Sunday) and its undoubtedly the best place to watch sports in Royston
Young boy behind the bar was so lovely, definitely recommend!!!
Tidy little pub with a good atmosphere. Staff are friendly, warm and welcoming. I would recommend to any weary traveller.
