Lovely village and nice old English style pub. In winter they put the open fire on. The pub has nice staff who are friendly. The beer garden views are really good, looking across miles of countryside The only thing that lets the place down is poor quality and poorly prepared food. They get the basics so wrong microwaved soft soggy jacket potatoes, tiny soggy garlic bread etc etc View all feedback.

read moreNestled in a charming village, The Green Man restaurant presents a blend of nostalgia and traditional dining. With a menu rich in classic pub favorites, it offers solid value, particularly appealing to seniors seeking hearty meals. Though some recent visits have reported inconsistent service and mixed food experiences—ranging from delightful homemade Sunday roasts to disappointing textures in dishes—many patrons appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Despite its vintage feel and outdated decor, The Green Man remains a pleasant spot for casual dining, drawing loyal customers and newcomers alike, who enjoy its extensive menu and community spirit.
