This place was uncomfortable. Crumpets on sale at an extortionate price and not very appealing cakes. Crammed full of shouting male cyclists (Stevenage Cycle Club) who wouldn't sit down and tramped about the place as if they owned it making it seem even smaller than it already was. It was a little tricky to find as the signs coming from the B651 were overgrown boy it was worth it . A small secluded indoor and outdoor proper tea rooms . We arrived late Emily was most gracious . Selection of cakes was lovely. Tea cakes were the size of a satellite dish !!!. The sun was shining there were full flower boxes everywhere or blue spotted table clothes if you were inside .
