First visit to this little place. Certainly nothing fancy but that's not as important as tasty food and good, friendly service. Started off very well. Server brought drinks right away. Ordering is done at the counter. Still fine. Knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Food arrived in good time. I called ahead of time to order pizza and was told they were only making 3 of the pizzas on their menu. Perhaps that should have been my first sign. They had a special on their pepperoni pizza so I got that and then the Salt Lick. My only other choice was the Margherita. I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes and when I got down there, they said it wasn't ready and to wait 10 minutes. After 20 minutes, I asked if it was ready and as told no, only to see 2 pizzas off to the side. I asked if those could be mine and they were. They had been sitting there the entire time. I was offered a free coke and some dipping sauce for the mistake. Once home, my family had to warm up the pizza as it was cold. The toppings were tasty but the dough was bland and even the dip didn't improve it. I would never return, especially after paying $45 for the 2 pizzas that I had to warm up. There were multiple other customers there waiting for a long time. The manager said that he was new and that they didn't have toppings to make the other pizzas on the menu. One would think when pizza is the only thing on your menu, you would make sure you have ample toppings on hand to make what is on the menu.
While the wait is a bit long it's worth every second! It's delicious! Loved the holy cheezus! Garlic sauce is great too! Not a huge place but the food is great and the staff is awesome and friendly! Have gone back already!

Ordering is done at the counter. Still fine. Knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Food arrived in good time. Before we were finished eating, she swooped in to ask if we would like containers to take food home. Shortly after, she was back to ask if we were finished with our glasses, could she clear them away. Even though I said I wasn't quite done, the water was whisked away. The place was definitely not busy....only one other table of 2 so it wasn't like we were holding up service. The pizza was delicious so that helped a bit but the service left a lot to be desired.
Good pizza places seem to few and far between in our neck of the woods (James North) so Knead, being excellent is a welcome respite! I prefer to order from scratch as sometimes the "warmed up and ready" slices may get a tad crusty (a polite way of saying burnt) nevertheless...some very inventive combinations and all very tasty - and reasonably priced to boot!
