What GoPlaces23162819881 doesn't like about The Livesey Arms:
Thursday 8th April. Turned up for lunch was greeted with a glass of wine only then to be told the pob was closed due to a private functiom. There was no indication that thes was the case, no notice on the door, no on asked us who were or why we were there. We hat to hand the wine back and left irritated and very annoyed. It was very quiet, but there were a couple of other occupied tables and a very nice atmosphere with pleasant unobtrusive background music. Service very good if a little too fast for a leisurely lunch however if it was a quick business lunch then the timing was perfect. Ham croquettes very tasty. As was the smoked salmon and poached egg. Fish and chips also good with a nice size piece of fish not too big. Desserts yum... View all feedback.
