Our first visit to The Swan was a delightful experience that we definitely plan on repeating. Both my husband and I ordered pies - he went for the steak and mushroom, while I chose the hearty meat and potato. Our daughter opted for the steak, and we were all impressed by the perfectly cooked meals. The pies were especially delicious! The homemade dessert was also a hit. What Piccarda Colombo doesn't like about The Swan:

Great food. Great staff. Spotless clean pub and wonderfully clean and modern toilets. Would recommend to anyone wish big pub food and beautiful relaxing atmosphere.
Only after visiting the Swan Gasthof for a family bank holiday food returned all over the property, but one of the group chose the house made meat and potato cake, mash and muddy peas, on arrival the meal had no engraving either poured over or accompanied. The person asked the server? Is there engraving, to the answer you ordered engraving! Question... When is a meat and potato cake with mash n mushy peas not served with Gravy as an accompanying page answer .. on the swan it is an extra for 80p or £ 1.20 depending on how much you want to say so a little confused, the least of May I don't add where on the menu says that you need to buy gravitation for your cake, but I think we just expect you to order a pour out
Wentweek mid ca. 6.30pm, was not for a long time, although only 5 minutes drive away. It is very busy, such a good work we have previously booked, we sat after ordering our drinks from half pint cedar and stock at £2...e. After deciding what we wanted, I went back to the bar and ordered our food. I had chicken and mushroom cake with chips and muddy peas at £10, my wife had the lasagna, chips and salad at £9.50 both were very nice and plentiful. The pub is in the countryside, but on the edge of the Sheffield with a beautiful and warm relaxing atmosphere.

The service was top-notch, making us feel very welcome and as if our satisfaction was a top priority. The historic building added to the charm of the evening. This was the best pub meal I've had in years.
