There was a large queue outside... read more Called in here for fish n chips as we were reliably informed these were the best in the area. We certainly weren’t disappointed! There was a large queue outside which is always a good sign you’re in the right place! We wanted to eat inside so put one person in the queue, the rest of us went to secure some tables in the rear where the seating area is. The menu is standard fish n chip bar menu with some decent seating indoors if you don’t want to take away. I had the chips which were amazing, not too greasy and very tasty! A fish cake which was also top quality and a jumbo sausage which again was very good. Based on this experience I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, despite being really busy service was fast and the place was clean and tidy.

The curry sauce for any northerners is the Chinese/Irish curry sauce not quite as good as back home but still decent! Fish was a good thick piece. I guess only criticism would be it’s very expensive. 3 meals cost us £29 but the food at least was very good. Lovely friendly staff

Curry sauce was delicious. Only critism is It's fairly expensive for the quantity, but I guess it's to expected in this location
