Outside the restaurant it can not look like somewhere that should be eating on the upper places in barnstaple, but the term “not assessing a book through its cover” is very applicable. the inner has a warm and cozy atmosphere with natural features of...what I suspect was a house, still present. the staff was polite and polite, and we were set to a quick wise (see, it is very advisable to book). the menu itself is clear even though it is a terrible amount menu. can not be a bad idea to try to condense the menu further, as I am a little overwhelmed with the choice as I turned over the fourth page of the menu. I ordered the roasted halloumi to begin, and then the rumpsteak with pfefferkornsauce for a pornstar. (I mentioned especially the pfefferkornsauce as it has played a significant roll in the meal) the fried halloumi was supplemented by a beautiful bath of spicy mayo, I think the halloumi itself was not something to write home, but was made tasty enough of the sauce. the main course was my real problem, because a steak is a relatiw good offer that was as it was of a good quality that this was. the problem was the pfeffer sauce. I love steak and I love pfeffercorn sauce, they are a great combination and brings me to a happy place. so without hesitation, I poured a little bit of a pie sauce on my rare steak and took a bite from a beautifully boiled dug by steak. I'm not, my mouth is almost exploded. the soße would have been better without any pfeffer grains in it. it was a worrying moment for me, as I looked at my steak, that I would have made the fatal mistake of having almost from the pfeffer corn sauce on my steak. it must have been a fairly concerted effort by whom the sose has made to insert as many pfeffer grains into the recipe as he could. a moment I have rejected myself for a camera team and a host to jump into the room to film my reaction on it, but still I remained to treat this pain alone. Now I'm not dramatic, but I think someone has to be shot to produce this sauce, or maybe a more sensible proposal to change the recipe. not a bad place, but for the price, I still expect to taste the dinge after the meal.
