We’ve always ate at a different location but enjoyed this one more. Staff is friendly, the food is great, the restaurant is a good size so you don’t feel crammed together. Their crab balls are the best I’ve had in a long time. I go literally for those! Kid-friendliness: the waitress we had the first time offered my infant a fruit cup which we declined the first time, however the second time we went our waiter brought... View all feedback.
What Christi N doesn't like about The Crab Shack:
The seacrab soup was good, but the rest of the boil seafood was bland had almost NO seasoning other patrons had to bring their OWN spices.. The staff was kind and helpful, but they didn't have any seasoning on the side. We noticed the two tables near us the patron had to bring their OWN spices. It was a bit pricey but overall the meal it wasn't bad. I just couldn't believe that the other patrons who had been there be... View all feedback.

Kid-friendliness: the waitress we had the first time offered my infant a fruit cup which we declined the first time, however the second time we went our waiter brought us one when she got a little fussy. They had no issue with my son who is an extremely picky eater) bringing in his Zaxby’s.

It was a bit pricey but overall the meal it wasn't bad. I just couldn't believe that the other patrons who had been there before all had their own spices....hahahaha. I have never been to a seafood restaurant where the meat is cooked well but no seasoning. The sides were normal and the place was clean.
It was our first and my last time going, my wife can go back if she wants to but, I doubt it. The service we received was very good until the waitress bought the receipt. Now, that 's the part I 'En fo like,? She puts it directly in front of me and walked off like I pose to payem. I believe in equal opportunity so I pass 'em to my wife ?. The food was subpar to me. I had the Captains Platter aka Cholesterol Platter which consisted of 2 flounder strip, 4 large shrimp, 4 scallops, 4 pieces of fried oyster. Fried okra and an ice cream scoop of red rice. I was disappointed because the scoop of red rice was good but, everything else was like they were trying to watch my blood pressure like dey my doctor or sumpin. If my wife is going to pay 28$ for my plate of food. I need yah ta Star Trek my food and Season me up Scotty . The atmosphere tricked me. The reason why I said that is, you know sometimes the ambiance lacks but the food be the bomb. This wasn 't the case at all. Fix sumpin my boy, the taste of the food quality, the atmosphere OR both.
It was amazing, services was exceptional and the food was perfect. Will definitely be going back!!
Food is better than the place looks. Especially the outside..
