Carolina Crab House - North Charleston

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, the music was enjoyable, and the atmosphere was inviting. The food came out quickly, and it was absolutely delicious. I tried the crab legs, corn, potatoes, boiled eggs, and sausage, and everything tasted amazing. The house sauce really elevated the flavors of the dishes. Honestly, before I knew it, my food was gone, devoured by my eager appetite! Lol.

First of all, the waitress, Lashawnda, was amazing! She provided excellent service, which we really appreciate. The hush puppies were delicious, and the fried shrimp was fantastic too! I'm so glad I chose this place!

We had a great experience with a wonderful waitress and delicious food. Our server, Charmaine, was exceptional! The restaurant offers a diverse selection, allowing you to customize your own seafood pan with your choice of crabs and other seafood. Their happy hour menu features excellent appetizers, and my $2 drink was fantastic. My husband and I shared a pot of king crab and shrimp, accompanied by potatoes and corn. The food was very tasty, but make sure to really dip into the sauce at the bottom of the pan! We opted for garlic butter and mild spices, and since the food isn't cooked in the sauce for long, it really enhances the flavor. My husband's claw came out cold, but they quickly replaced it with a hot, fresh piece. I peeled my shrimp and generously coated it in the sauce, which made it taste so much better (I've seen reviews that mention the food being bland). Overall, I would definitely return here.

Not sure what we expected when we got in. To be sure that the ambience was not the biggest. We went early (5 o'clock) and there were only a few bullets. Not one who gives up my party of 3 forged. We sat at a table without ruffles, covered with butcher paper, with balls, gloves and menus. Not sure where we start let the waitress lead us into the low-land cooking combo specials. We ordered a combo complete with our selection of spices and marinade. In a jiff we received our orders in a plastic bag that was not accepted. No utensils just gloves, so we all fall asleep. Let me assure you that this is one of the best seafood we have experienced!! I had half a pound of scrub and shrimp along with half a pound of crabbon. They were perfectly seasoned and delicious!! I would recommend them to anyone looking for an incredible culinary experience and a delicious meal.

Omg omg OMG!!! you need to RUN-dont walk- R U N to carolina crabhouse in tanger outlets right. this. second! my boyfriend and i are huge foodies and we’ve tried so many seafood places and have NEVER been as impressed with the quality, quantity, and timing of the food as we are with carolina crabhouse in tanger outlets. this is the juiciest and most flavorful seafood i’ve ever had in my life. it is most certainly a hidden gem and they deserve so much more attention. the staff is very kind and welcoming. we were sat immediately and our appetizer came out within 10 minutes of us ordering and the entree we shared (signature combo: snow crab and jumbo shrimp). the service was phenomenal but the food is one of a kind. the calamari and mozzarella were also amazing but the real star of the show tonight was the seafood broil we had. the portion of the seafood was perfect for two people… and my boyfriend and i eat A LOT !!! i’m surprised we had leftovers! but really, go make reservations RIGHT NOW, you will not regret it!!!
