Server with the glasses, mullet, and the open toed shoes was not attentive. At first we thought she was just nervous but at the end she was rude… and attentive to all the other tables around us. We asked for more napkins and she came back 10 minutes later with ONE napkin? Not sure what her deal was but don’t leave people at the table without water or utensils 10 minutes after the food comes out!

I have lived in Austin for 40 years. I love Kirby’s but the experience was not what I was expecting. I loved the server, but either she was new and was in training, but the order for my pancake got separated from the rest of the food. As a result, they brought the pancake early. When somebody realized what they had done, they took the pancake back and put it under the warmer until the rest of our food came.A second person, picked it up from the warmer and brought it back to us again. Again the food had not been received. My coffee was cold. I had to send it back and get another cup. The second one was warm, but not hot. It was a disappointing visit. I must say I have always love to go to Kirby‘s. I do miss the older Kirby where the restaurant was smaller, and the food was delivered quickly after it was cooked.

I’ve been going to kerbey lane for over 30 years. This location does not disappoint. They even made me my favorite cinnamon raisin pancakes great service.thank you

This will always be my go to location. From the hostess to the waitstaff to the bus staff…these people are always very customer oriented. They go out of their way in customer service. Thank you for your excellent service every time I’ve come here. Pumpkin pancakes ended today , unfortunately, these are seasonal and so yummy.
