The Lighthouse - North Ayrshire

We went there in september for dinner and were very satisfied with the level of service and quality of food. it is obviously led by two couples who are weeping in front of the house and the males in the back. who were employees. very polite and helpful and grateful were vigilant to the coviding precautions. no entry without sanitating the first hands and masks used by the personal. I had the venison and my partner had the lamb shoulders that were both delicious. both desserts were also ashamed. we enjoyed it so much that we asked if we could book for the following night, unfortunately they were fully booked for this night, but after leaving they said they could impress us when we arrive early. what we have done! Thank you and we will return.

Had an amazing meal here we arrived a bit late, but was still greeted the staff was nice and the eating was absolutely beautiful would definitely go back and recommend. I am a really fussier esser, but there was a lot to choose and it was honest. the most tasty eating that I had in one, some of the reviews made me slightly nervous, but we had a really good experience, it was also a very reasonable price thank you.

All opening times are published online, on facebook and in front of the door. but no open lunches, apparently, despite all the published hours say they are. you really dropped off.

We ate twice in the lighthouse, it was so good! the first time we booked by phone and byob was pointed out to us. we could not have felt welcome at the arrival, all the staff were very friendly. the choice of food was amazing...and our order was taken when we were ready, not rushed in any wise, eating came freshly cooked and was perfect. also not rushed between the curses. we booked there and then for a second visit and received the same warm welcome. I wish we had a week on the island.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at the restaurant. When we made the booking we were not advised it’s BYOB, which isn’t the end of the world as we are not big drinkers but it was our anniversary so would have been nice...to have a glass of wine. We drove to the restaurant we were not made to feel welcome. We got the feeling as tourists we weren’t welcome. The food was nice but all came very fast so made us think it’s not freshly cooked. Was very fast food in and out in well under the hour. Due to how uncomfortable we felt we did not stay for desert or coffee. I have to say one last was a lot nicer than the other and more friendly. We would not return to this restaurant.
