What Glwcamper doesn't like about The Coffee Pot:
As this was the only place open in the village I decided to accept the distinctly tourist prices and the inevitable greetin ' wean , but as I went to sit down I was intercepted by a member of staff; The table 's booked. Just the typical Scottish Tourist Industry experience if you try to eat local , I will bring my own food in future. View all feedback. What Cazzarooo likes about The Coffee Pot:
Had lunch after a walk to the Falls. Great food and cosy atmosphere. Quiche of the Day and lemon cake could not resist-and it was difficult to choose from the amazing selection! was delicious. View all feedback.

Friendly small cafe with great coffee and sandwiches, they also carry Arran ice cream, which is one of the best I've ever had.
Visited at lunchtime and enjoyed the toasties, good range of cakes and a tasty bacon butty. Definitely worth a visit and reasonably priced.

Though some visitors experienced inconsistency with bookings and closures, many rave about the exceptional food quality, particularly the homemade delights like delicious cheese scones, cakes, and hearty lunches. While the menu may have limited options for gluten-free diners, the generous portions and friendly service often make up for it. With both indoor and outdoor seating available, it’s a charming place to unwind after a scenic walk, making it a cherished stop for locals and tourists alike.
