Amazing hidden gem! I decided to make the trip from Augusta to try this place, and I was not disappointed! Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly, served in generous portions, and the food came out quickly. There are great options on the menu, including some vegetarian dishes. All the grilled sauces were delicious and not overly sweet. I would definitely return. Be sure to try the pulled pork nachos! View all feedback.
What Kim doesn't like about The Pot Smoker Bbq:
Horrible. Visiting from Chicago. Food is precooked at the counter sitting under a heat lamp. The food looked stale and flies were visibly flying around and over the food. DISGUSTING!! Didn?t want to be rude -ordered anyways but definitely won?t everreturn. The restaurant close at 8 we arrived around 6:30 ?.sometimes knowing the time is helpful to some. Try at your own risk. Ribbons perfection juicy. Pull up pork and ha screams, homemade Mac cheese from the chain. At the first meal it will definitely go again.

June 25 2022 I ordered a carryout full rake of ribs with two sides. The worker pulled the ribs and the sides off of the all you can eat buffet. The sides were enough for about 2 3 bites. This was $26. Yes, ribs had been sitting there a while. I postedthis immediately on yelp, but noticed nobody uses yelp. So, I just now put it on here.
Pot Smoker is a cozy BBQ restaurant that packs a punch in terms of flavor! The ribs and pulled pork were absolutely fantastic, especially when paired with the mustard sauce. One of the staff members recommended the mac and cheese, and I'm really glad I took his advice! The only dish I wasn’t fond of was the baked potato salad, which is essentially a cold version of a loaded baked potato. Their sweet tea struck a perfect balance – not too sweet but very enjoyable! The young woman who took our order was very friendly and offered some helpful suggestions since it was our first visit. However, the restaurant itself could use some improvement; the antique and rustic decor was charming, but there were broken tables and quite a bit of clutter. I heard there's a buffet on the weekends, although it’s a menu service during the week. The price was reasonable, around $40 for two people. I will definitely give this place another try!
Incredible BBQ! We visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon while traveling to Hilton Head from Western North Carolina, and it was almost empty. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with mac'n'cheese and green beans (as shown in the picture), while my wife opted for the same sandwich but with the loaded potato salad and collard greens. Everything was absolutely fantastic. This spot is truly a hidden gem!
