Was Michelle Barber at Chef's House a mag?
I stopped by here on a whim after getting a massage down the street. The food was absolutely delicious! The staff what I assume was the owner were fantastic. It's in an old house, so I thought it was kind of weird at first sitting in a former bedroom with other people, but it was great. Those folks were hysterical kind. The next people were the same. These were all frequent customers as everyone knew them by name. It... View all feedback.

What Paula Pulido dislikes about Chef's House:
The food definitely was not good at all !! Green beans and corn not done!! Baked chicken was just OK, no fried chicken . Rice could have cooked longer and roast beef no seasonings.20 dollars a person for that !! My 9 year old had a couple things on plate did not like it and hers was 20 dollars also. I'm not mad at all but definitely will NEVER GO BACK !!! View all feedback.

Everything was fantastic! It was truly an amazing experience! Tammie and George are wonderful people, and you can really taste the love in their food. The hospitality and customer service are outstanding, and I can't wait to come back again.

The best dining experience in Augusta! Every dish is cooked to perfection, and the owners create a warm and welcoming environment, making you feel like you're at a close friend's home. The atmosphere is fantastic!

Home-cooked meals are incredibly delicious, and the ambiance is just right. The atmosphere and service are welcoming and friendly. They offer a different menu every day, featuring a healthy buffet style that's packed with flavor. The dishes aren't overly salty; they're perfectly seasoned. You absolutely must try the salmon and fried pork chops, and the baked chicken is wonderfully seasoned as well.

Hands down the best food I've had in Augusta. In Augusta for work, and have been trying out various restaurants with the work crew. This place I is the first that had me saying I'm coming back. EVERYTHING was good! Seating is limited and there was a short (10min) then from there it's either buffet style or takeout option. We dined in, which gave me a chance to sample EVERYTHING. I started with the salmon in lemon sauce. Not overcooked and just delicious. This was my favorite. Seconds were had. Next up was the fried pork loin. Probably my least favorite protein but still good. I'm not much of a pork person and still enjoyed. Then the barbeque chicken. This..was..good. seasoned to the bone. For sides, there was some corn and lima beans and plain rice. After this, we had the beef gumbo. The gumbo truth be told was more a soup. For me gumbo needs to be a little thicker...heartier. Whatever you want to call it delicious. The beef was seasoned well, tender and the broth flavoured with okras. There was also a salad bar, and I just had a fresh salad. Typical salad toppings with some.black olives and jalapenos to spice it up a little. Not sure about the dressing, I did without. Then everything was topped off with the peach cobbler. I enjoyed this as well, probably because it was not overly sweet. But I know people are passionate about their cobbler, so opinions will very. All in all, I'm definitely going back and look forward to different daily dishes. We were told when leaving tomorrow (Friday) is fried chicken day.
