Foods fresh but absolutely tasteless there are 3 shops in close proximity that all seem to be run by the extended family Walk to the Furma restaurant a few doors up its not brilliant but lots more flavour

We decided to get a takeaway from this Restaurant as the menu was in the Compendium at the Motel we were staying at . It was a Saturday evening of the Long weekend . We ordered the Special for $27 consisting of 2 spring rolls, 2 steamed dim sims , 2 mains (BBQ pork in Plum sauce & Chicken & Vegetables) and Large special fried rice and a bag of Prawn crackers.The Restaurant was empty except for a couple of people huddled over an electric heater to keep warm . it was freezing in the restaurant .It took around 20 minutes for our Takeaway and we went back to our motel to eat our meal. It did look good in the containers . We had the spring rolls first . These were fine . The steamed dim sims next. They were the strangest dim sims I have ever eaten . They would have been just slightly smaller than a cricket ball , very bland to eat and the outside I would describe as pastry , quite hard , hardly appetising . We then began sharing the mains. First the rice , looked ok with chicken , a couple of small prawns and some BBQ pork , but when we tasted it , it had no taste . It was totally devoid of taste. We tasted the BBQ pork with Plum sauce , firstly the BBQ pork was a tastless Beef and the Plum sauce was a very watery and tasteless Sweet & Sour. Not what we ordered. We then tasted the Chicken and vegetables , the chicken was breast meat , so over cooked it was tough and dry . I then tried the prawn crackers , just handling them told the story , they were soaked in oil and horrible. We threw the whole meal in the bin . Would not recommend this restaurant .

Just left after having an amazing feed and would definitely go again. We ordered and couple of starters and mains to share and they were all amazing! Especially the satay chicken skewers and massamun curry the meat was so tender and sauces were super tasty.The staff were very friendly and accomodating. And the food was very reasonably priced.
