Only a small restaurant, with short booking times, but great food. Very authentic. Well priced, friendly staff. Happy to accommodate a pram, although only very small bathrooms. View all feedback.
What BirregurraBoy doesn't like about Sato:
Food is OK, but they struggle with Vegetarians/Pescatarians. Ambience is limited by layout and extremely bright lighting. Service was poor for me. I close the banquet, but never for desert as they all hung around talking at the counter. I gave up in the end. Go to Yakitori up the road for a much better experience. View all feedback.
On Saturday night here to dinner and it was fantastic! service was great, eating was delicious and the restaurant itself was beautifully decorated and decorated. definitiw back and worth a try if it has not yet been!
Incredibly disappointing. booked by an answering machine without possibility to confirm, except the day appear and ask. no one bothered the callback and no booking in the night very poor as a first and probably last impression.
My friend and I have been here for several times. eating here is absolutely delicious and love the friendly staff as well. I highly recommend this place if they are looking for authentic Japanese food.
Beautiful service and traditional looking shop. large selection of Japanese foods. Unfortunately, the taste is ok and it is hard to evaluate higher because we have many good Japanese restaurants in recent times to choose from. the chicken catsu was disappointing- slightly understated. gyoza was beautiful. agedashi tofu was average..
Sato has a friendly atmosphere and a solid menu of choice. That said is suited well to a person table and not well suited to larger parties and you should book ahead I recommend the dumplings (gyoza). They have a lovely range of traditional rice wine too Service can be slow when the restaurant is full but that should not surprise experienced diners.
