I'm no chef, but anyone can cook eggs. Apparently not at il circolo. After being told i couldn't have the mushroom dish- because they'd run out of mushrooms, i chose simple poached eggs and bacon, with a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was luke warm and powdery- the worst I've ever tried. The eggs were so overcooked they barely even resembled eggs, more like rubber space ships. Our party of 8 turned up here for lunch and proceeded to rearrange their furniture so that we could all be together. The waitress was really nice about it all. All the food, except the chicken salad, we're delicious. The coffee was also great. The menu and cafe reminded me of our holidays in Santa margarita last year...

An give Street has become a Mekka for coffee aficionados with a number of coffee shops serving above average coffee and breakfast. The best of the bunch - at least for coffee - is I'll Circolo. Mills, Metrio and Fiotentina, all serve very decent coffee too.... So An give Street is the place if you need a good cuppa. Also, at I'll Circolo, try their Rosemary and Lemon cake!AllAngove Street are kids and dog friendly......

I have been here for dinner twice and have not been disappointed! The food is absolutely delicious and the best value for money! Small menu, great service only downfall I can give is that the lights are really bright! Three of us had a starter and an entre each plus 2 deserts for 140 bucks, essentially 8 courses and we were soo full! Love this absolute gem down the road!

We had dinner there last week and loved the food! A small menu, which makes sense for a small restaurant - everything was freshly cooked. BYO. Real Italian style with quality ingredients. Excellent sauces which do not drown the meal. Very good service and a good atmosphere with quiet music playing in the background. Can recommend the barramundi ravioli and the superb homemade lemon and rosemary tart.We've also had breakfast there quite a few times. Same comments apply: small menu but quality food.It was one of the first places to open on the Angove St strip and continues to provide good meals.
