This local restaurant experience is a blend of nostalgia and frustration. While some patrons fondly recall shopping since the 1980s, recent reviews reveal ongoing concerns over stock shortages, unhelpful staff, and uncomfortable situations, including allegations of racial profiling. Patrons note the market's reputation is marred by management’s perceived aloofness and inadequate responses to complaints. However, there are also glimmers of positivity—appreciative customers commend friendly cashiers and community connection. Overall, it seems this restaurant has potential but must address its service and inclusivity issues to retain loyal customers and attract new ones effectively.

What User dislikes about Qfc:
This restaurant is like no other. Their specials are always almost nonexistent - they advertise items on sale but never have them in stock. They don't carry many common items that people need, so I don't understand why anyone shops here. It's better to go to Fred Meyer in Burien, which is fully stocked and more convenient. Please disregard what they used to do in the past! My friends and I have been coming here since high school, as it was the most convenient option when I used to live in the area. We used to stop by for Red Bulls before class, cupcakes for a birthday party, and now for family meals. We were loyal customers. The prices are very reasonable, but their service could use some improvement. They have help from older employees who are often grumpy or disapproving, or young students who seem impatient and inexperienced. Our recent visits have not been as pleasant. During the COVID pandemic, there were anti-Asian remarks made by a customer and a staff member. On another occasion, a staff member made a snide comment about my choice of Moët bottles while waiting to process my card payment (it's just Moët, relax. It's not that expensive). I once purchased flowers before visiting my parents and felt like a staff member was following me closely the entire time. Maybe it's just the mindset of this retirement town, as it feels like a mini Florida. Today was the final straw. The cashier, Jennifer, was kind and helpful with the customer in front of me, but when it was my turn, she rudely asked if I would be paying with food stamps, which was incredibly offensive. Acceptance based on stereotypes is completely unacceptable, and it was disheartening after all the hard work I put into supporting their business. As my mother always taught me, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. I will be taking my business elsewhere and supporting other food stores. It's important to check oneself before making unnecessary and hurtful comments.

They claim to have 19 restrictions in place, but they are not enforced. I prefer to stick with Trader Joe's and Costco. My daughter entered the store and waited in line for several minutes. She had 4 items. A man without a mask approached her and said he had an item and was going before her. She declined, but he cut in front of her and the other five people waiting in line. The staff did nothing about it.
Had run in with Leann the manager. I think that's how it's spelled??? EARLIER TODAY. But anyway just casually tried to talk to her in store. Was treated like I wasn't there??? And when she did talk to me. One word RUDE. SHE WAS BERATING ANOTHER EMPLOYEE. TO BUSY FOR ME. I THINK SOMEONE NEEDS SO RETRAINING. STARTING WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. OR MAYBE RELOCATED??? VERY DISAPPOINTED QFC CUSTOMER. I WILL NEVER AGAIN SHOP HERE.
