Description

This local restaurant experience is a blend of nostalgia and frustration. While some patrons fondly recall shopping since the 1980s, recent reviews reveal ongoing concerns over stock shortages, unhelpful staff, and uncomfortable situations, including allegations of racial profiling. Patrons note the market's reputation is marred by management’s perceived aloofness and inadequate responses to complaints. However, there are also glimmers of positivity—appreciative customers commend friendly cashiers and community connection. Overall, it seems this restaurant has potential but must address its service and inclusivity issues to retain loyal customers and attract new ones effectively.

The Deli is a complete mess. This is the only QFC (Quality Food Center) I know of that is completely disorganized. They are missing out on a big lunch crowd because they never have soup, sandwiches, or hot food ready until around 1pm. People usually take lunch at 11am, but when I went in at 11:45am, there was nothing available except for baked chicken. It's ridiculous. Management really needs to step in and either hire more staff or replace the current employees.

The staff at this restaurant were extremely impolite. I felt unwelcome after going through the trouble of finding a parking spot in the chaotic lot, only to be treated like a nuisance when placing my order at Starbucks. The barista did not greet me or show any basic manners, instead displaying a visibly annoyed attitude and loudly exhaling. It is astonishing how someone in a customer service role cannot even manage to say simple pleasantries like "you're welcome", "have a nice day", or even a simple "hi".

I do not like this restaurant due to the parking situation, high prices, and the unfriendly attitude of some of the employees. While there are a few who are friendly and courteous, there are others who make you feel unwelcome. I prefer to shop at Fred Meyer in Burien, the other Kroger store, because they have a larger parking lot, friendlier staff, and better prices.

Had run in with Leann the manager. I think that's how it's spelled??? EARLIER TODAY. But anyway just casually tried to talk to her in store. Was treated like I wasn't there??? And when she did talk to me. One word RUDE. SHE WAS BERATING ANOTHER EMPLOYEE. TO BUSY FOR ME. I THINK SOMEONE NEEDS SO RETRAINING. STARTING WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. OR MAYBE RELOCATED??? VERY DISAPPOINTED QFC CUSTOMER. I WILL NEVER AGAIN SHOP HERE.
