Lam Bistro - Normandy Park

Tried this place for the first time with a group of friends the other week. It’s good pho, but not great. The broth is very flavorful, but it seems to be lacking something and is a bit more watery than I’d prefer. Meat also wasn’t the freshest. The shop is run by a very nice family and everything is reasonably priced. However, I really wish they had a soda fountain and water that wasn’t bottled. I’ll still come back again ?

The owners and service were fantastic. He said they just bought the place from the previous owners. The pho was really good, the egg rolls were delicious, and overall the food was great. It was a bit cold inside but it warmed up a bit as the place filled up with more people throughout the dinner rush.

This place was a disappointment, we were seated next to a water fountain feature and it stank, probably from the mold, might need some cleaning. Our food took a VERY long time. It came one at a time, what am I suppose to do? Eat while the others at my table drool? I ordered beef short ribs with an egg. Yeah SHORT ribs alright, i had about 5 small pieces of beef. For $15+ the portions was a disappointment as well. I dont think I will be returning.

The bun bo hue was delicious. I'll have to come back and try their pho next time.

Fast friendly service and great food. My partner and I had our go-to meals, pho and lemongrass tofu. Both were very tasty.
