Yamato Japanese Steakhouse - Norman

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, especially given the fantastic prices! It was our first time visiting, and my husband ordered the chicken steak for just $19, which came with a soup, salad, fried rice, and even sherbet. Everything was great!

Delicious! The exterior may not seem impressive, but don't be fooled—it's a different story inside! The restaurant is very clean and beautifully decorated. The food is fantastic, and the service is consistently excellent. I visit at least once, sometimes twice a month, and their fried rice is the best! It always tastes amazing every time I dine here. Yamato is definitely my favorite spot for hibachi!

Although the service isn't the best, we keep coming back for the delicious food. The value is great for the amount of good you get.

Good experience. My husband and I were slightly nervous about going here because of bad reviews, but we decided to give it a shot and took our son for his 15th birthday. We found the service to be good, and our chef was quite entertaining. The food was delicious and it was impossible to eat everything we received! We were happy with our dining experience. However, we did go at four on Sunday afternoon. Not a busy time for the restaurant at all. That probably should be taken into account, but again, for us a very fun time!
