Probably one of the most underrated pizza places in Norman. Each time I?ve been, they?ve provided consistent flavor and texture with their pizza. It?s important to note that Tavola is a Neopolitan style pizza, which means it is supposed to be chewy and light, and they do it quite well. Definitely worth a try! View all feedback.
Tavola has good pizza. It's fancy and all that. But it's not so fantastic that I want to pay the price. Lunch for two with sodas and tip was $42. That's a bit pricey for good not great pizza. I will say that it is top quality and the offer things you just don't find at other pizza places. Kudos for their effort and I hope they have found their niche. As for me, I will stick with Hideaway or Stars-n-Stripes.
Looks new, very clean, and brightly lit inside. My first time here and couldn?t decide what to get and a young lady at the counter was very patient and helpful. They have personal pizzas that are just the right size. The dough was perfectly cooked. The toppings were simple and tasty. The pizza had the right amount of seasoning and oil or pesto that made this pizza way above the average. Will be back for more for sure.
Pizza ain?t great. But it?s pizza for sure. Almost no sauce. Lots of cheese. Chewy ingredients, flimsy bread that?s also chewy. The cheese is chewy. It?s just chewy food. And this is me getting my food fresh. The dough takes some effort to eat but it did seem quality. The bottom of the crust tasted weird almost like grill cleaner or just dirty grill or something in some spots. Honestly it wasn?t bad but I just don?t see a reason to come back. The dough is organic so maybe that?s why. Not sure about the ingredients. So if you prefer organic maybe it?s not bad to you. The salad though was good!! The dressing was some of the best dressing ever and the lettuce was crispy and not too dry and there was actually quite a bit of salad in the individual size so I was impressed by that. This is a pizzeria though and the pizza didn?t super impress me so I?m prob gonna pass next time.
Best Pizza in Norman! My family stopped by on a lark to try a new spot. The pizza is amazing, the crust is thin and soft under the toppings but full of texture and flavor. The edge of the pizza itself is soft and chewy with just the right amout of char. Just got more pizza again for dinner tonight. Looking forward to going back again, truly sublime!
If you're looking for authentic Neapolitan style pizza, this is the place! The crust is thin and perfectly chewy, the tomato sauce is flavorful, yet mild, and the toppings are thoughtfully selected. You can go to Italy for pizza or hit up Tavola in Norman, Oklahoma. Nothing else compares!
