I've been coming here for over twenty years. That being said, my experience with service lately has not been that good. I'm not going to go into the details here, but that aspect has fell low. Despite that, it continues to be my destination for a cold Guiness and hot sandwich at a good price.

Our bartender I just asked her to make her favorite drinks and she made some dangerously good mixed drinks. Our waitress was upbeat and was easy to flow with conversation. Recommending this place to many my husband just happen to pop in on our one night out with out the kids

As someone with a severe alle... read more I visited this restaurant for the first time and immediately noticed that alfalfa sprouts were included in many of the sandwiches. As someone with a severe allergy to them—anaphylactic shock territory—I made sure to inform our kind server that my food should not come into contact with the alfalfa at all. When our meals arrived, I confirmed once more that there were no sprouts involved. The manager/owner took the time to check with the kitchen staff herself before I even touched the food. I truly appreciate that the kitchen staff admitted they weren't entirely sure, prompting her to have my meal remade just to be safe. They took extra precautions, ensuring that my food was prepared away from any possible contamination—new gloves were used, a clean cutting board was brought in, and they even chose not to toast the sandwich to avoid any exposure from the grill. I'm incredibly grateful to have been heard regarding my unusual and life-threatening allergy, and the manager's attentiveness made all the difference. I made sure to thank her before leaving, as it’s a rare experience to feel genuinely listened to. To top it all off, my meal was comped! I wholeheartedly recommend the club wrap with avocado—10/10!

The ambiance is wonderful, the staff is both skilled and friendly, and the menu offers so many great options that it’s hard to decide. I plan to return, especially since I imagine it will get quite busy when the college students come back. They offer daily drink specials, various food deals, and the service is impressively quick. Overall, a total success!
