Midway is cozy, unique spot tucked back in central Norman, with a wide variety of freshly-prepared sandwiches and soups. Everything I've had there thus far has been tasty, though I prefer their hot/grilled sandwiches. Parking and seating can get a bit crowded and the prices are a little steep for the portion size, but it's clear they put out a high-quality product. What Santos King doesn't like about Midway Grocery:
The atmosphere and place settings were very comfortable. I’d rather just make my own sandwich at home and walk there. The Ruben was a complete disappointment and the other sandwiches I’d rather make myself and save 10 dollars. I love that it’s in a close neighborhood. View all feedback.
A target punch spot. best sandwichs and lonely ambiente available! Amazing classic charm we thought was lost and the master can light their shoes while they feed! say hello to midway bob and ask him if he still makes a phony sandwich!
The best kept secret. even the sign in front reads midway grocery and market, but inside you find the midway deli with a lot of interesting sandwiches that made big and with top of class. parking is limited, but even if they have to remove their car around the corner, there are many sitting options and they will probably see some famous faces. but do not make any mistakes, the attraction here is the incredible food, homemade suppening, perfect salad, about the top sandwiches and delicious cookies. aren't surprised if the normanns have long not known about it, the disguise is so good. but if they eat there, they will tell all their friends, or perhaps not. but it won't...read more
Solid. they don't have to see the menu. it is its typical Deli menu served high quality in a classic old food business. they have their classics, but will make quite every sandwich they want on freshly baked bread with thumanns meat. do not skip the home baked cookies (the cranberry and the white chocolate bleededed me away.) just excellent.
- that's not like that. I love how easy it feels to be here regularly. create their own sandwich or try a favorite! I recommend the arnie!

Don't skip dessert too, because there are some hidden gems in their display case. Their cakes (especially chocolate and banana) are some of the best I've had in a long time, and this is coming from someone who adores sweets!
