I love this place. It’s a perfect mom and pop joint with delicious comfort food. I’m obsessed with the fried fish- it’s delightfully crispy and crunchy, perfectly seasoned, not greasy at all. The service is quick and friendly- even when it’s packed, you get your food very quickly. You also can’t beat the prices.
Delicious home cooking, friendly staff and very well priced! Will be back soon!
Ordered food waited 40 min then they gave our order to someone else . Worst experience ever wasn’t even that busy that’s the worst part. No spoons no refills 1&1/2 hours still no food 4 hungry kids and a pissed off adult . I recommend gas stations to this service at least you know it’s gonna suck
I had the grilled pork chop. It was by far the best grilled pork chop I've ever had!
The restaurant is described as beautiful with a few comments about the need for friendlier bartenders. Most visitors enjoyed the food, especially highlighting the fried catfish, chicken fried steak, and cherry cobbler. The atmosphere is described as casual and friendly, with some mentioning a nostalgic small-town vibe. Overall, the service received positive feedback, with servers going above and beyond for customers. Despite some minor criticisms, it seems like this restaurant is a favorite for many regulars and first-time visitors alike.

This place is on point. The food is fantastic, love me some catfish and they have the best to offer! Just as impressive is the service. The young lady that served us the 2 times we were there was excellent! Keep up the great service and great food!
Good food! Had the breaded chicken tenders and mashed potatoes. Big portions on the strips! Tasted great! Highly recommend trying those! Nice people and friendly and attentive staff!
The chicken fried steak is exceptionally good and the white gravy was just right. Victoria, the bartender makes a mean Lemon Drop Martini.
Loved the casual local feel of the restaurant. This is one of those places where you know the people around you and it feels like family. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. For a first time visit we felt right at home.
It was about 6:30 pm when we arrived. They close at 8pm. The salad bar was a option as a side. My boyfriend and I both wanted a salad. But unfortunately the salad bar was empty of alot of things at that time so the salad was disappointing. The chicken fried steak and homemade mashed potatoes was very good and so was the service.

I absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was fantastic, and both the interior and exterior were wonderful. The waitstaff was really friendly, too. Kid-friendliness: The food was easy for children to eat, and the staff treated the kids with kindness. Wheelchair accessibility: They have tables suitable for wheelchair users and take safety into consideration.
I walked in and was seated immediately. The restaurant has a simple, rustic, and clean atmosphere. The waitress was prompt, courteous, and very helpful. I ordered the special beef stew accompanied by cornbread and iced tea. The food arrived quickly and was served piping hot. The aroma wafting from the bowl was very inviting. After spreading some butter on my cornbread, I could immediately tell that it was homemade and absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were generous and satisfying. If you enjoy or crave southern comfort food, this is definitely the place to dine and savor. I loved every aspect of my experience here, and although it was my first visit, it certainly won’t be my last.

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, but the bartenders could improve their friendliness. I was visiting from out of town to meet a lovely lady for our first date. When I arrived and went to the bar for some drinks, the bartenders completely ignored me—no greeting, no acknowledgment of the wait time, nothing at all. Having worked as a bartender and bar manager myself, I understand that things can get busy. However, it’s important to recognize customers and make them feel welcomed, which can be done with just a simple gesture. I didn't mind waiting, but the lack of acknowledgment made it frustrating. Other than this issue, I think you have a great establishment.
I had my first visit to this restaurant, and I absolutely loved it! Our server was fantastic and even went out of their way to find real butter for my roll. I ordered the fried fish and pinto beans, and both dishes were delicious! My husband tried the chicken fried steak, but the meat was a bit tough. The salad bar, though small, offered a great variety of options and was quite good. The cherry cobbler was hands down the best I've ever tasted! I will definitely return!
If you’re a fan of charming small-town restaurants, this could be the spot for you. The place was bustling during my visit, and the prices were quite reasonable. They offer a variety of fried food options, along with some grilled selections like steak and salmon. The service was attentive and friendly. Additionally, there’s a lovely little salad bar with fresh ingredients. I would definitely consider returning.
