What Nicholas Strazzulla doesn't like about Laredo Taco Company:
Thanks from Inverness!! I really enjoyed not eating. Either this place doesn’t have what I want or they are messing up orders. It used to be good but not so much anymore. There’s much better Mexican food here in Inverness. View all feedback.
If I were to sum up my dining experience at Laredo Taco in one word, it would be atrocious. This so called restaurant manages to redefine the concept of tastelessness and mediocrity. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a dreadful culinary journey, and boy, did Laredo Taco deliver!Let 's start with the ambiance or lack thereof. The place looked like it had undergone zero renovations since the '90s, and the dingy, worn out interior was enough to dampen anyone 's appetite. A half hearted attempt at decorating with generic Tex Mex posters did little to distract from the overwhelming sense of dullness that permeated the air. Now, on to the food or rather, the travesty that masquerades as food. The menu offered the usual array of Tex Mex staples, but the execution left much to be desired. I tried their famous tacos, and it was as if someone had slapped together random ingredients and called it a day. The taste was bland, the tortillas stale, and the fillings were so unremarkable that they may as well have used cardboard for all the flavor they provided. If that weren 't bad enough, the service was utterly abysmal. The staff seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to the few customers they had. Getting their attention was a Herculean task, and when I finally managed to do so, their indifference was palpable. It was clear that they had no passion for their work or pride in serving their customers. To top it all off, the prices were unjustifiably high for the pitiful excuse of a meal they served. I wouldn 't mind paying premium prices for quality food, but at Laredo Taco, it felt like they were charging exorbitant rates for a one way ticket to culinary disappointment. In conclusion, Laredo Taco is an absolute disgrace to the world of Tex Mex cuisine. The lackluster food, drab ambiance, and apathetic service create a trifecta of disappointment that 's tough to swallow. Save your taste buds (and your wallet) the agony and steer clear of this woeful establishment. There are countless other authentic Tex Mex restaurants that are worth your time and money. Trust me; you won 't miss anything by giving Laredo Taco a hard pass.
The food was not great, definitely would've rather gotten something from the roller
It's great food, but the maybe they should hire folks who actually knows food . My rice is always really dry, and the beans are too. I think the food just sits there to long to be honest. It would be great if the upgraded little more and just had better food care. The tamales are good. Really

Bottom line: it’s okThe good: staff was friendly, tortillas appear to be house made, fairly inexpensiveThe not so good: the food we had was rather bland, service was a bit slow (but we did come by when they’d just opened and didn’t have everything ready quite yet)Other things to note: the tortillas have a lot of flour on them, so make sure you get a drink
