Was IM LRG at Haystack Coffee a mag?
I visited this café around 12:30 on the Saturday before Father's Day to pick up a bag of coffee for my dad. Think of this as more of an industrial/commercial coffee shop. You can sit down and have a cup of coffee of your choosing. There are no food options except a few desserts. You do not come here to eat food. It is a place to get coffee with potentially long lines and lots of people trafficking in and out as this is a large open building that holds major events upstairs. I came during an event, so my wait time to get a cup of coffee was 10 to 15 min. after ordering with people standing and waiting. I was fine waiting as it was very busy. I just would not think of coming here to sit and talk with friends.
The barrista was so kind! Drinks were amazing. I had so many questions since i am not from here. And she was so helpful! Sent me to amazing spots to check out and really made me and my date feel so welcome!
As a senior, I used to visit this place three times a week to study. It had the BEST study environment and the BEST coffee I’ve ever tasted. They offered a variety of syrups, from toffee crunch to lavender, and the staff was always friendly. I graduated and moved to Dallas, but I haven't found another coffee shop I enjoy as much. I'm writing this review because I really miss Haystack! :’
