Waterside Burger Works - Norfolk

Overall underwhelming experience and wouldn't recommend. Waiter was unattentive, food came out at different times, incorrectly and overall just greasy and unappetizing. We had to hunt down our waiter and ask for everything, drinks, water refills, silverware. Checks were all wrong and had additional unordered items. I could understand if they were busy but there weren't that many other tables in the restaurant. Save your time and try one of the other awesome Waterside spots instead

Had to give blue moon a second change, unfortunately they didn’t deliver, strikes and I’m done.It appears to be poorly managed, the place has like tables and no one is ever there, the service is terrible and both times i went they were out of at least dishes including kids chicken tenders. Service was terrible both times, empty cups, forgetting things we asked for and apps came out with the food. Food bland, tenders they got from nearby restaurant we’re inedible! Stuff looks as it’s falling apart and not being replaced, waterside is a great location but i will not be back, simply not worth it and the beer isn’t even cold enough, so weird to me....Perhaps management that has experience in properties of this size would be better suited, it’s a shame because the location is so prime..

First time there, it was awesome. Not sure if our server was new but she didn't know much about the menu. She disappeared when we had questions. Overall I loved the place

We had a reservation and arrived about minutes early. We decided to try to sit outside since the weather was nice. The hostess offered us a table right next to the stand, and we asked if we could get a table out on the patio to overlook the water. They said yes and it would be a minute wait which we didn’t mind. We decided to go up to the bar to get some drinks as we wait. The bartenders didn’t even acknowledge us or ask what we would like until I asked about minutes later if we could order some drinks. Mind you I know bartenders can be busy with other orders but I’m not sure where the disconnect was on even acknowledging new customers and saying I’ll be with you shortly.We finally get called for our table and the hostess tried to seat us RIGHT NEXT TO THE STAND AGAIN. We told them that we waited minutes for a table on the patio and there are about tables open on the patio that we saw while we got our drinks. Thankfully she did seat us at one of the open tables.The next kicker still has me laughing. My husband decides to order the tuna tacos. Our waiter comes back and tells us that the “chef is not taking any tuna orders for hours.”...... Hm. We asked if they ran out and the waiter says no, the chef just decided to stop taking the orders. There is no way that they are receiving a shipment of tuna on Saturday night at at this point. It was total B.S. that a decision like that was made for no explanation since they did not run out.The only thing we enjoyed about coming here was enjoying our drinks when we finally got served and the view of the water. That’s it

This place was awful. I went on Memorial Day weekend and they were out of their own beer. How the hell are you out of your own beer on one of the weekend that kicks off the summer ? Also, I asked for my burger medium rare and it came burnt. A friend order the fish and chips and got two small super soggy pieces of fish. His stuff was sent back. My brother ordered an dollar bacon appetizer that promised thick cut pieces of bacon and he got shriveled up thin super soggy pieces of bacon. The manager took off both meals that were sent back, but not once did they come to the table. Thankfully our waitress was incredible and you could tell she was embarrassed and stressed. She was the only reason I didn’t give you guys 0 stars
