Delicious burgers and pommes. These are Bacon Cheddar Crisp Doubles. A double patty smash burger with bacon bits, cheese, onions and ketchup. As pretty as some other burgers. The frits have a good spice, that is not excessive at all (although I prefer spicy spices themselves, and these are not removed spicy). The frits are also beautiful and crisp. It all the depends on which one you go to When placing a order I feel like the person who is taking the order repeats it back to the customer. I love rally?s wings and every time I go all my wings are covered in sauce, what happened this time? And please stop cooking the fries and chicken in the same grease as the sweets. My fries taste like funnel cake.
Service is terrible if you come at night. I even spoke to the manager named Mike and he didn?t seem to care after I explained my situation. I waited in one of their lines for about 10 minutes and no one acknowledged me. I then go to the walk up line and wait another 10 minutes of no acknowledgement, just for someone to come take my order who claims to be a manager named mike. I tell him how bad the customer service is and he brushes me off. I then get home I live 5 minutes away) and I kid you not I had the coldest food as of it was sitting for some hours. If you want a good Rally?s this is not a good choice
The brand itself is a disappointment. Checkers used to be my go to fast food restaurant. It had that special something. I am not sure what all changed but the quality of the meals are not the same. This particular location is not professional or organized or consistent. The management will treat you as though you are doing a disservice to them by showing up and ordering. The staff is inattentive and too distracted to remember what you mention in your order. I would not recommend this brand or location. I will not return for a meal as other brands are more consistent in quality and professionalism.
I haven't really had any problems with this location as it's been there for quite some time. Go figure! I'd seen Rally's just disappear. I've seen some re-appear in places I would never expect a Rally's. The burgers are decent. The fries, eh. That's about it! Nothing special, Checkers!
I think Rally's deserves a spot cuz it closes super late. It has a couple of tables outside and all, and it's located at the fringe of Ghent which can be a bit sketchy at night, but it's def a good place to satisfy an impromptu craving. Btw I think the fries taste like butter and some people like that, i don't. : Also it might be me, but I find difficult to understand what they say in the intercom.
